Grocery Smarts

Hey everyone! On Saturday February 21st at 10AM. My sister-in-law is coming up to do a coupon class. The class is Free! It is at my house. If you need directions give me a call. (796-7660)I have had so much fun doing this and thought I would share the love!

Barefoot Gymnastics meet January 23rd

What form!

I am almost moved to tears telling you about this event! The routine on the mushroom is to go around 3 1/2 times. So far no one has been able to do more than 1 1/2. Jake took a private lesson from Coach Kris on Thursday and got around 3 1/2 times. I wasn't sure he would be able to do it in competition. My heart was racing when he got up to start. The next thing I know he was flying around that thing 3 1/2 times!!! He was the only kid that could do it and he scored a 12.4, which put him in first place in that event. I was so excited I could hardly stand it. He worked so hard. No one could believe he went around that many times. It was AWESOME!!

Jake took 1st place all around. I got a little misty eyed when they called his name. He wouldn't crack a smile though. He was so proud of himself. We are so proud of him. He got 1st place in 3 events and 2nd or 3rd in all the others.

They asked Brigham to help with scoring. He did a great job. He gave a few kids a 76.9, some a .09.

Mrs. Soderstrom's 1st grade devotional

On Friday Jake's class had devotional. The theme was Pioneers. They sang lots of cute songs and each of the children had a part. This was Jake wanting to take a picture with Aubrey and her not wanting to.

He is being so reverent! It was such a sweet program. You really felt the spirit.

This is his whole class. They are a cute class. I have really grown to love all the kids in his class.

His part was: "the Church has members in almost every country, who love the savior and want to do what is right. We can follow the Prophet and be member missionaries, sharing the gospel with others. We can set a good example for our friends by being kind and helpful. We can be modern-day pioneers and help to build the Kingdom of God on earth." He said it slow and loud. I was so proud.

January 17th All American meet.

This was Jake's first official gymnastics meet. It was held at All American where he goes to gym. He is a level 4 age 6. He did really well. He took 3rd place overall. He took first in vault with a 15.1. they now score out of 16 instead of 10. He only got a 9 on the Pommel Horse/mushroom.

My little princess!

Aubrey has been potty training so she spends a lot of time in just panties or naked these days. Well I bought her some red shoes and she wears those too. The other day she got into the pantry and tore the top off of the cereal box and took out the bag to make herself a hat! She came running into me saying "My hat! I cute!" So there she was butt naked with a Lucky Charms cereal box on her head. I couldn't stop laughing. Where does she get this stuff? She is full of crazy antics. She is so funny! She says the strangest things. I love her guts!

Tate & Aubrey wanted to sleep by each other. The only problem is they wouldn't go to sleep. Aubrey kept fake sleeping. It was so much fun having these guys stay with us. They are welcome anytime!
