I sure hope you can see this. I think Brooks has 4 or 5 toe nail clippers hooked to his belt. He thinks they are light saber's. He does this everyday. He has such a great imagination. 
He really wanted a picture of all his "Light Saber's". How could I resist that face! You just don't. He is the funniest kid.
My mom wanted to take the boys to lunch at Mcdonald's the other day. The boys love to go with Grandma. I can't say I blame them, she spoils them rotten. Jake has every other Friday off of school so she came and picked them up for there date. Grandma Cherri took Brooks all by himself the weekend before and Jake really wanted to go, but he had a gymnastics meet. So I think she thought she had to make it up to him. The kids just love to see Grandma Cherri. She adores my kids and I am so grateful for her. Thanks Mom
So I know it has been awhile since I have made a post so I thought I would try and get caught up. In February I told the boys they could have a late night with there friends and that way I could try out some of the games I wanted to play in Jake's class for his Valentine's party.
One of the activities was cookie decorating. Well Jake decided to convince everyone to decorate there faces. Some where a little to eager to go along with it.
Jasia's face was actually stained from the frosting.

This was when they were actually decorating the cookies. We played Don't Eat Pete (The kids LOVE this one.) , The Marshmellow target game, decorated Valentine cards, and of course the cookie decorating. The kids had a blast. We are so lucky to have such great kids for our kids to play with.
Today is Jake's 7th birthday! He has been so excited for today. I brought chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting and a reese's peanut butter cup into his class today. I also gave them a little treat bag to take home. It was really cute how they did his mini-party. We passed out treats and then I got to brag about Jake for a minute and then each of the kids from his class came up and said what they liked about Jake. Almost all the kids said that he is fast, which I thought was so funny. He really is fast! A lot of kids said because he was smart, because he always finds patterns (they call him pattern man), because he is kind, Noah said he was his BFL, another said he was his BFF. One girl said she liked Jake because he was always quite in class and listened. His teacher said she loved that Jake always listens in class and takes what he learns and applies it to his life. She had so many great things to say about him. I am so glad that the people around him love him so much. He is so special to our family! For dinner he wanted rice and chicken and by the time he got home from school it had changed to Domino's pizza. So we all ate outside. It was fun! Jake and Brooks B-day's are only 11 days apart so I always combine there birthday parties, but for the actual day of they get to choose what they want for dinner and they get a present from Mom & Dad. This year Ryan and I decided to by the boys a TV for there room now that they are downstairs. They weren't to thrilled until it got set up. Jake said he wanted a $1000.00 dollars. Crazy kid! I love you Jake! Happy Birthday!
If the camera comes out these two always want there picture taken. Brooks always wants a picture of him and his dog, and with that face how can I resist. He loves his dog SO SO SO much. These two are hysterical.
