Coupon Savings

Michelle and I went to Albertson's tonight and got a lot of Great deals!  I saved $164.63.  As I was reading through my receipt I realized that they didn't give me all my discounts.  I went in 2 days later, because they hadn't given me all of my discounts.  So after all was said and done I got another $11 off, 7 vegetable steamers, yogurt, and 2 bags of marshmellows.   So I actually saved $175.63 and spent $78.  

You know you are getting old when you get a adrenaline rush because you just got a great deal on cereal!

So, I would like to say THANK YOU JODI!  I had so much fun grocery shopping.  Michelle and I even started talking to the young college kid behind us in line.  We just kept telling him about our great deals.  He was amazed!  When I told him I saved $164 he just wanted to know HOW?  Poor guy had Lucy & Ethel chatting his ear off about all of our great savings all the way to the parking lot.    We even got a plate of cookies at our Enrichment night.  What a night!

Grocery class

I know this is a bit of short notice, but if anyone is interested my cute sister-in-law Jodi is teaching a free coupon class on Wednesday night December 10th.  My other cute sister-in-law, Jenny,  is hosting it at her house.  It is at 5:30PM.  It is in Lehi.  If you want to go and need directions let me know.  I started using her program about a month and a half ago and it is awesome.  I can't believe how much money you can save and it is really easy.  

Bubbles!

Brooks & Aubrey were in my bathroom tub.  They turned the jets on and within a few minutes this is what they got.  

They were giggling so hard.  I couldn't help but laugh.  It wasn't until Brooks tried to do a cannonball that I got upset and made them get out.  Ha! Ha! I love these two!

Kids Village Christmas party

Tonight we went to Kids Village for Brooks' Christmas party!  

I bought these bears earlier in the day and the boys just fell in love with them.  It was really cute.  Jake named him Grizzly and Brooks named his Fuzzy.  They are sleeping with them right now.  It is really cute to see them love something like a soft cuddly little bear. 

They had a huge spread of food in the kitchen for everyone.  Brooks was in heaven!  I caught him at the brownies with one in each hand.  The first thing Jake ran to was the cheese.  They are so different.

Brooks "singing"!  It was hysterical.  He didn't know the first song they sang and so he just sat there with this horrible look on his face.  It almost looked like he was going to cry.  I couldn't stop laughing.  He is the funniest kid!

Student of the day!

Jake was student of the day yesterday!  He was so excited.   He got to bring home Striker the bee and he got to help the teacher all day.  Things like open the door for all the kids, pass things out, and go to the front of the line for recess.  He is such a awesome kid.  I am so proud of him.  He is doing very well in school and his teachers love having him in class.
