Happy Birthday Ryan!

Ryan turned 35 on October 20th. I know I am a little slow at posting lately.  I will do better.  Ryan's parents , Jenny & Ike, Daniel, Jeff & Janeen, and Janeen's sister all came to dinner at Yapona's to help celebrate.  We had a great time!  The guys all went to see a movie after.  It has been so long I am not sure what movie it was.   Happy Birthday babe!  We love you tons!

Twilight!

Well, I jumped on the band wagon and read the Twilight series.  I read all 4 of them including midnight sun in 5 days.  I wasn't sure if I would like them I had heard some negative feedback so I was a bit skeptical.  I mean werewolves and vampires. Come on!  Now I am just trying to decide which butt cheek to tattoo Edward's name on.  I LOVED the books.  I was totally satisfied on how they ended and that she didn't end up with Jacob, even though I did love him, but Edward is her TRUE LOVE!  it doesn't get any better than that.  So now I need another book before I go into a total Twilight withdrawls.  I can't wait for the movie.  Ryan is so happy to have me back into the real world.  I guess he now knows how I feel when football season is on.  I finally cleaned my house and shaved my legs!  

Aubrey's 2nd Birthday

Happy 2nd Birthday Aubrey!

I took her about 50 blows to get her candle out, but she did it!  Aubrey turned 2 on September 1st.  We had cake and ice cream at the house and opened presents.  She had a blast.  

I love this face!  It is messy as usual, but very happy!  I love you sis!

Jake's in 1st grade

Well, my oldest started 1st grade at American Heritage 2 weeks ago.  I am a little slow at posting this.  I was so nervous for him to go to school all day without me.  I almost came to school to help him with his lunch, but thought better of it.  He loves first grade, even more than Kindergarten, because they have 3 recesses on the days they don't have P.E.  His teacher, Mrs. Soderstrom says he is an excellent student.  He is always helping someone in his class.  I am proud of him.  He has such a giving heart. 

Brooks first day at Kids Village

I was a little nervous to be sending my boys off to school this year.  Jake in 1st grade and Brooks in his 2nd year of preschool at Kids Village.  As you can tell they didn't share my anxiety about being apart.  Brooks cried almost every day I took him to school last year.  It was a nightmare.  I decided to change schools and so far I have not regretted my decision.  He is loving school even though he does say he misses Mrs. Misty.  They have  a great program and he is in the same class as his friend Hayden and I think that helps.  He will now write his name, his letters and say there sounds.  He has already made progress from last year.  He had no desire to learn last year and now he does.  He grew up a lot this summer.  I am proud to see him getting so big, but it also makes me cry to think he will grow up and not need his mom like he does now.  Brooks is such a fun loving kid.  He ADORES his dog Snoop.  It is very tender to watch.  He loves Bakugan Brawlers, Star Wars, and Ben 10.  He is kind and is good at sharing.  Everywhere he goes people are drawn to him and I hope that he will recognize what a great influence for good he can have in his life if he chooses to follow God's commandments.

Gangsta's

This was the funniest thing ever.  We had devotionals every day and we would reinact our different characters.  Jake was pretending to be a bad guy that the 2000 stripling warriors where fighting.    He was running around like crazy and they couldn't catching him. It was one of my favorite moments.

Brooks on his horse.  Always making a face!  My other favorite moment in Wyoming was when my saddle started falling of as I am running my horse.  The next thing I know I am riding on the side of the horse and decide my best option was to jump.  I felt like I was in a western movie.  I was thankfully alright.  

Brooks and his BELOVED dog Snoop.  I don't know anyone that loves there dog than Brooks.  It is cute to watch.  I have way to many pictures to post them all, but these are some of the best that I have. 

Bondurant, Wyoming

We went to Bondurant for a Gardner Family camp.  We went August 6th-9th.

Here is Aubrey with her favorite uncle, Daniel.  She asked "Where's Daniel?"  for a week after we came home.

Aubrey loves horses.  It was so cute to see her just walk over and pet them with no fear.
